TV Assignment- December.16,2010

TV Assignment
Holy Middle Living

Holy Middle Living is the comedy sitcom show that brings good and bad together to hate each other in the middle. Holy Middle living involves God and Saitan in disguise as normal beings on Earth living a normal life like all man-kind. Except, the world is soon to be at an end. Which means there is a deal to make. God and Saitan go to Earth not to just see their fellow man-kind children. They're determining whether or not to save Earth or to leave it fall to pieces.

The main concept for the sitcom is for God and Saitan to find a way to work togeather in observing the daily lives of man kind. Due to man kind wrecking planet Earth. God and Saitan has to decide if it is time to begin a new species of such or to keep their intelligent beings to live forever with no risks and ending of their world by going on Earth to observe man kinds success.

They both live in a place called Middleson City. A place where it has the highest crime reports every year. God lives on the peaceful bright side of the city. Knowing all the neighbourhood residents and being a close friend to most people in the city. You would see God donating to any charity he knew. He has a wife named Cybele, a daughter named Brigit, and a son named Demeter.

Saitan is the most popular guy in the one half of town where crime happens 24/7. Drug deals, breaking and entering, you name it. The gloomy, unsafe side of the city. He is referred to as the “God” of the gloomy side of Middleson city. Saitan has a wife whose name is Medusa, his daughters name is Luna, and his son's name is Odin.

Each live a normal life. Upholding shelter, wants, and needs for their families. Except, without their full amount of power. God is a peaceful, loyal, and respectful man who obeys the laws no matter the cause. He works for the Middleson police. Unlike Saitan, who is a very disrespectful, arrogant, self centred man who loves to be rebellious. Who works as a criminal.

Cybele is God's wife. She is a kind, giving, loving elementary teacher. Brigit is God's sixteen year old daughter. At the Middleson Highschool where Brigit attends for her education. Her age is 17. She is the president of the student council, environmental club, and cheer leading club. She joins many teams such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, and such. Last, would be God's son—Demeter. Demeter is not the most easy guy to get along with. Having being known as the immature, self-centred, cruel—at only the age of 16—man that he is. He isn't the most popular with the loyal people around his area. He doesn't do good in school; with grades consisting from either just passing to failing by a lot.

Medusa is Saitan's wife. Medusa is not the kind person you want to be around when you're in a good mood. She will suck the life out of anyone she sets her eyes on--literally. Luna is Saitan's eldest child. She is eighteen years old and she does not approve of going to school to get an education. She skips classes, she has terrible grades and she is the ruler of her own world. Yet, she is her mother and father's favourite child. Odin on the other hand is the failure compared to his sister. He is seventeen years old. Odin is a well-behaved, straight-A student with the most generous heart. He tries out for extra-curricular activities in and out of school.

Some situations both God and Saitan would get into would be common and known simple problems. Most would consist of Saitan getting in trouble all the time and God needing to get Saitan out of his mess ups—without breaking the rules. A possible episode would be—God is having a busy day at work. Unfortunately, he gets a call on his cellphone from his ring--“Jesus Take the Wheel” by artist Carrie Underwood—and it appears that he has man-kind secret business to attend to. Except, he needs to find a way to attend to his man-kind ruling Earth secret business. Which same happens with Saitan at the same time since both need to attend the 'meeting'. But, Saitan's ring tone song when he gets a phone call would come up to “Highway to Hell” by the AC/DC band.

The target audience that we are trying to attract is of the ages fifteen and up. Due to the variety of people who watch sitcom comedy's most times. This range of age group is also a group where they talk about what is on television and are interested in what their friends are watching now a days. We are targeting both girls and boys.
As said before; Holy Middle Living is the comedy sitcom show that brings good and bad together to hate each other in the middle. This show has it's own taste of comedy with a dose of drama—which teenagers are going to love to watch.

Cast for the show would be:

Ashton Kutcher as God.

Channing Tatum as Saitan.

Kelly Preston as Medusa.

Miley Cyrus as Luna.

Cody Linley as Odin.

Reese Witherspoon as Cybele.

Dianna Agron as Brigit.

Taylor Lautner as Demeter.
